Grammy Awards 2026: early winners at the 68th ceremony
The New York Times is updating its list of winners from the 68th annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 1, 2026. The premiere ceremony runs before the prime-time event starting at 3:30 p.m. Eastern (12:30 p.m. Pacific) on live.grammy.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel, and awards are being handed out across 95 categories.
The ceremony is the first in more than a decade without a showdown involving Taylor Swift, Beyoncé or Adele, the Times notes. It could be a big night for Kendrick Lamar (who leads all nominees, with nine), Lady Gaga (who has seven) or Bad Bunny, who is competing for six trophies a week before he makes history with his Super Bowl halftime show.
The Grammys honor recordings released from Aug. 31, 2024, through Aug. 30, 2025, across 95 categories, the article says. Here are the winners so far, as listed by The New York Times: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance — "Defying Gravity," Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. Best Dance/Electronic Recording — "End of Summer," Tame Impala.
Best Dance/Electronic Album — "Eusexua," FKA twigs. Best Remixed Recording — "Abracadabra (Gesaffelstein Remix)," Gesaffelstein, remixer (Lady Gaga, Gesaffelstein). Best Latin Pop Album — "Cancionera," Natalia Lafourcade. Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album — "Papota," Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso.
