Grammys 2026: 68th ceremony underway in Los Angeles; main show at 8 p.m. ET
The 68th annual Grammy Awards are underway in Los Angeles, with the main televised ceremony set to begin at 8 p.m. Eastern time at the Crypto.com Arena and Trevor Noah hosting for the sixth and final time. A vast majority of this year’s 95 awards were handed out earlier in a nontelevised ceremony.
Kendrick Lamar had already won three awards — best melodic rap performance for “Luther,” best rap song for “TV Off” and best rap performance as a guest on Clipse’s “Chains and Whips.” Leon Thomas won two prizes, and “Golden” from “KPop Demon Hunters” won best song written for visual media, the first Grammy for K-pop.
This year’s nominees for best new artist include Olivia Dean (“Man I Need”), Leon Thomas (“Mutt”), Sombr (“Back to Friends”), Lola Young (“Messy”), the K-pop–adjacent group Katseye (“Gnarly”), Addison Rae (“Diet Pepsi”), the Marías (“No One Noticed”) and Alex Warren (“Ordinary”). The field mixes British singer-songwriters, TikTok-born acts, an R&B singer-songwriter and a multicultural K-pop-style group.
Performers on the telecast include Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Rosé, Bruno Mars, Clipse with Pharrell and Tyler, the Creator; all eight best new artist nominees will perform in a special segment. The “In Memoriam” presentation will feature Lauryn Hill paying tribute to Roberta Flack and D’Angelo, and Post Malone honoring Ozzy Osbourne.
