Movieweb reports that Greenland 2: Migration is set to arrive on digital streaming on January 27, 2026, according to a new Prime Video listing.

Directed by Ric Roman Waugh and starring Gerard Butler with Morena Baccarin and Roger Dale Floyd as Allison and Nathan Garrity, the survival action thriller opened in theaters on January 9. The film—also featuring Amber Rose Revah, Roman Griffin Davis, William Abadie, Trond Fausa Aurvåg and Tommie Earl Jenkins—will be available across platforms including Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango and more. Its premise follows the Garrity family as they leave a Greenland bunker to traverse a shattered world after a comet strike.

The sequel received a divisive response, scoring 48% from critics and 66% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. Critic Mark Keizer said the franchise “deserved better,” concluding: “Greenland 2: Migration, whose very title echoes current events not once but twice, includes scenes of a makeshift government debating whether to allow refugees into the bunker. And while we can’t blame Waugh for not predicting the future, we can blame him for betraying a solid first film by delivering a serviceable, diverting sequel to a series that deserves better.” The film has grossed around $22 million against a reported $90 million budget, and it is now unlikely a planned third outing will go ahead as the studio had hoped.
