The Guardian is asking readers to submit their favourite romantic place in Europe, including the UK, for a chance to win a £200 voucher to stay at a Coolstays property.

Entries can describe anything from a fairytale city to a remote mountain refuge, a hotel or a romantic restaurant. The best tip of the week, chosen by Tom Hall of Lonely Planet, will win the voucher; Coolstays is said to have more than 3,000 properties worldwide. The best tips will appear in the Guardian Travel section and on the website.

Tips should be about 100 words. Photographs may be sent but the words will be judged; the maximum file size for photos is 5.7MB. The competition is only open to UK residents.

Responses can be submitted via the encrypted form and may be anonymous. The Guardian says only it will have access to the contributions, that data will be used only for the feature and that personal data will be deleted when no longer required. The competition closes on Monday 2 February at 10am GMT.
