Guy Ritchie's Fountain of Youth Spends 320 Days in Apple TV Top 10
Guy Ritchie's Apple TV+ adventure film Fountain of Youth has spent more than 320 days in the Top 10 of the Apple TV charts. The movie, Ritchie's attempt at an Indiana Jones–style picture, premiered to one of the iciest receptions of his career. Rotten Tomatoes ratings are low — 35% from critics and 38% from audiences — leaving it as the fourth lowest-rated film he has directed.
The cast includes John Krasinski, Natalie Portman, Eiza González and Domhnall Gleeson. The story follows estranged siblings Luke (Krasinski) and Charlotte (Portman) as they reunite for a globetrotting hunt for the legendary Fountain of Youth, teaming with specialists to solve historical puzzles and chase immortality; James Vanderbilt wrote the screenplay.
A review called the film "a refreshing, if imperfect, departure" and noted moments where Ritchie's personality shines through, concluding, "It's a perfectly watchable movie designed to keep you entertained for two hours on a rainy Sunday afternoon." Fountain of Youth is streaming now on Apple TV.
