Movieweb reports that Black Bear has scheduled Guy Ritchie’s upcoming thriller Wife & Dog for a U.S. theatrical release on October 23, 2026.

The film reportedly features an all-star cast including Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike, Cosmo Jarvis, James Norton, Paddy Considine and Anthony Hopkins, and is described as centering on “the relentless greed of the Fairbank family and their associates sparking betrayal and murder in a succession battle.”

Black Bear recently launched a U.S. theatrical distribution arm and has set other 2026 dates, including Jason Statham’s Shelter (due to launch "later this month") and a May 22 release for Daniel Roher’s Tuner, which stars Dustin Hoffman, Havana Rose Liu and Leo Woodall, alongside a planned release for the Matthew McConaughey-led The Rivals of Amziah King.

Wife & Dog joins several projects in Ritchie’s pipeline: reports say he will reunite with Jason Statham on Viva La Madness, a "sort-of-sequel" to Layer Cake that has been in development for years, and is linked to other reported projects including a Vinnie Jones collaboration described as "brilliantly British" and In the Grey with Jack Gyllenhaal, Henry Cavill and Eiza González.
