Haley Kalil says she was physically abused by a former boyfriend
According to People, Haley Kalil told the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast on Jan. 6 that she has experienced abuse in previous relationships, saying, "one of my exes was physically abusive." Kalil, who discussed emotional abuse and cheating as well, said the cast she wore in her first Billionaire Boyfriend skit was a reference to domestic violence.
She told the host she committed to becoming "the best person I could be" after leaving the abusive relationship and clarified the abusive partner she was referring to was a boyfriend, not her ex-husband Matt Kalil. The podcast episode aired the same day Matt Kalil filed a lawsuit alleging Haley shared "invasive commentary" about their marriage on a November 2025 Twitch livestream and that the comments harmed his ability to stay out of the public eye.
Haley's legal counsel, Matthew Bialick, called the case "legally unsupported" and said they would "immediately move to dismiss it." Attorney Ryan Saba for Matt Kalil said Haley disclosed private, intimate details and sought fortune and fame, while Haley said the original livestream remains live on Marlon’s YouTube, that she speaks highly of him at times, and that she was "genuinely shocked and incredibly hurt" by the filing.
