Halle Berry and Chris Hemsworth Tease Storm's MCU Return

Halle Berry may not appear in Avengers: Doomsday, but she and Chris Hemsworth have been hinting that Storm could still show up in future Marvel films. The two actors have been promoting Crime 101 alongside Mark Ruffalo, and many have asked Berry about returning to the role even though she was not included in the Doomsday cast announcement.

Hemsworth told CinemaBlend he was “bummed” that Doomsday won’t include a Thor–Storm team-up, noting how the characters share weather-wielding abilities. Berry interjected with a wry suggestion—“Maybe that's why she's not there. They don't need her.” Speaking to ScreenRant, Berry said she is disappointed not to be in Doomsday but described Storm as “a very special character” and one she would revisit.

She pointed to the X-Men films’ importance for her family and said, while she’s sad to miss this round, “there are other rounds,” and she would return “in a heartbeat,” even hinting at potential reshoots or a role in Avengers: Secret Wars.
