Halle Berry confirmed she’s engaged to Van Hunt after dating for nearly six years. The “Catwoman” actress revealed the news during Thursday’s episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.” Clarifying reports that she allegedly said no when he first proposed, she told Fallon, “There’s some confusion that he asked me to marry him and I said no, but that’s not the case!” and added, “I did not say no, we just don’t have a date but of course I said yes, I will marry him!” The actress, 59, then giddily showed off her massive engagement ring.
Hunt, 55, had said in June 2025 that he had proposed and that her answer was “on hold.” He told the outlet, “So I put out the proposal, and it’s still on hold, as you can see,” adding, “It’s just out there floating. You know, maybe you can encourage her.” The couple began dating in 2020 and have been together for nearly six years.
