Happy's Place returns Jan. 30 — Reba McEntire leads Season 2 episode 'Silence Was Golden'
Happy's Place is back tonight, Jan. 30, 2026, on NBC with an all-new Season 2 episode. Episode 9, titled "Silence Was Golden," stars Reba McEntire as Bobbie and picks up the bar's mix of heart and humor.
The week's logline reads: "While Bobbie attempts to plan the perfect anniversary dinner for her and Emmett, Steve and Takoda must hide a secret from Isabella and Gabby that could ruin Bobbie's special evening."
New episodes of Happy's Place air Fridays at 8/7c on NBC and are available to stream the next day on Peacock. If you miss the broadcast, the episode will be posted on Peacock the following day, and every episode of the series is available there.
McEntire told NBC Insider Season 2 has been a "good emotional rollercoaster," driven by the close-knit connections around the bar and the "darling connection" between Bobbie and Emmett. Last week’s episode, "The Name Game," followed Gabby learning she cannot become pregnant and showed Bobbie supporting her friend, while Takoda revealed himself as a secret rocker.
Season 2 has also featured guest turns from Christopher Lloyd, Cheri Oteri and Carol Kane. Oteri told NBC Insider the set felt like "the happiest place," calling the cast warm and supportive. New episodes continue to air Fridays at 8/7c on NBC and stream the next day on Peacock.
