HBO Max adds Paddington 2 — the film Pedro Pascal said 'makes you want to be a better man'
Paddington 2 is coming to HBO Max on Feb. 1, the outlet reports — a film Pedro Pascal (and Nic Cage, in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent) namechecks as one that "makes you want to be a better man" and even calls "a masterpiece." The 2017 sequel follows the Peruvian/British bear after he settles with the Brown family and is framed for burglary, sent to prison while the Browns search for the true culprit, Phoenix Buchanan (Hugh Grant).
The official synopsis highlights Paddington’s quest to unmask the thief before Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday. Paddington 2 is a direct follow-up to 2014’s Paddington and reunited director Paul King with Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington, alongside Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin.
