HBO’s The White Lotus Season 4 Adds Sandra Bernhard — Collider

Sandra Bernhard is joining the cast of HBO's The White Lotus for its fourth season. Her role, like those of the other new additions, is being kept under wraps. She joins Helena Bonham Carter (Fight Club), Steve Coogan (I'm Alan Partridge), Caleb Jonte Edwards (Black Snow), Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games), Chris Messina (The Mindy Project), AJ Michalka (The Goldbergs) and newcomer Marissa Long.

Season 4 moves the action to France, with filming at the 19th-century Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez, plus locations in Paris and along the French Riviera; production may coincide with the Cannes Film Festival. As in earlier seasons set in Hawaii, Italy and Thailand, the story will center on a luxury resort operated by the fictional White Lotus corporation and is expected to build toward a guest or staff death.

Bernhard, a native of Flint, Michigan, first gained attention as a stand-up in the late 1970s and broke out in Martin Scorsese's The King of Comedy.
