Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment warbond pushed back to January 22

Pcgamer reports that Arrowhead Game Studios announced today that the Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment warbond, which was delayed at the last minute last week, will now arrive on January 22 instead of the originally planned January 20.

Arrowhead wrote on X: "We were able to resolve the issue with Redacted Regiment and it will soon be available for release! We will have a patch incoming Thursday 22nd January at 11 am CET (5 am ET) with Redacted Regiment going live at 2 pm CET (8 am ET) also on the 22nd." The warbond adds stealth-focused gear, including two new suppressed weapons, a dart-firing pistol, two shadowy armor sets, the Concealed Insertion booster perk that adds smokescreens to Hellpod arrivals, and a backpack with six sticky C4 charges.

What went wrong to force the delay remains unclear: Arrowhead said on January 16 that "during final testing for the Warbond, we found a key issue that didn't meet our standards for a release," and some fans have speculated stealth elements may have been more complicated than expected. The company’s update sets the patch and warbond release for January 22 as announced.
