Helldivers 2’s Siege Breakers Warbond adds an exploding breaching hammer on Feb 3

Helldivers 2's Siege Breakers Warbond, due February 3, adds a new melee weapon that uses explosives: the CQC-20 Breaching Hammer, alongside several other weapons and gear.

The CQC-20 can be swung like a normal hammer and also has an optional charge that detonates on impact. The update also includes the LAS-16 Trident, noted for firing six laser beams.

Other additions in the warbond include the GL-28 belt-fed grenade launcher, the EAT-411 Leveller (described as a weapon that 'levels things. To dust.'), and the G/SH-39 portable shield.

Siege Breakers also brings two new armour sets that share a passive called 'Supplementary Adrenaline', which 'allows the wearer to regain some stamina whenever they take damage'.

The trailer for the warbond also hints that the Cyborgs might be returning: it shows a helldiver being dragged off while background voice lines sound Cyborg-esque. Whether the Cyborgs will be part of the Automaton faction or a separate guerrilla unit remains to be seen.
