Henry Cavill unveils first look as Connor MacLeod in Highlander reboot

Henry Cavill has officially revealed he will play Connor MacLeod in the long-awaited Highlander reboot, releasing first-look images on Instagram, MovieWeb reports.

The photos show the former Witcher star in a trench coat with a sheathed sword, presenting his take on the immortal warrior who is locked in an eternal battle against other fighters for "The Prize."

The action-fantasy film is being directed by John Wick's Chad Stahelski. Writers credited on the project are Ryan J. Condal, Michael Finch and Kerry Williamson, with Neal H. Moritz listed as a producer.
