Henry Cavill's Night Hunter Finds New Life on Streaming

Eight years after its release, Night Hunter — the 2018 crime thriller directed by David Raymond — is drawing renewed attention on streaming platforms. The film casts Henry Cavill as a police detective who teams with a vigilante played by Ben Kingsley to investigate a serial predator.

Critics and audiences disagreed on the film at the time: it holds a 14 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 51 percent audience rating, and it earned roughly $1 million at the box office. Performances from Alexandra Daddario, Stanley Tucci and Brendan Fletcher were singled out, and the supporting cast includes Minka Kelly, Nathan Fillion and Mpho Koaho.

Night Hunter has appeared on Paramount+’s top 10 charts for more than a month, FlixPatrol data show, and is currently available to stream on that service.
