Hidden Connectivity Labs menu unlocks Wi‑Fi tools on newer Samsung Galaxy phones
ZDNET reports that Samsung phones running One UI 6 or later hide a secret Connectivity Labs menu in the Wi‑Fi settings that exposes a range of advanced network tools.
To access it, ZDNET says you must open Settings > Connections > Wi‑Fi > the three‑dot menu > Intelligent Wi‑Fi, then tap seven times on the software version (currently shown as Intelligent Wi‑Fi 7.0.0); the option appears at the bottom of the Intelligent Wi‑Fi page. The feature is available on newer Galaxy models, described as anything after the Galaxy S20 series.
The menu presents connection graphs and a "Daily Average" Wi‑Fi time ticker and offers toggles including Wi‑Fi 7 mode, Wi‑Fi handover, network quality info, a home Wi‑Fi inspection tool, AI‑powered mobile data switching, and Wi‑Fi developer options such as "Nearby Wi‑Fi information." ZDNET's Kerry Wan described using the inspection tool to find a high‑signal spot for a monitoring hub and praised the faster mobile data switching for unstable public connections.
ZDNET says there are additional niche options to explore and recommends users test the settings to find what works for them, noting the tools cost nothing to try.
