Hilaria Baldwin appears to laugh off accent controversy

At a Valentine’s-themed lunch for Gurus Magazine, Hilaria Baldwin appeared to take the long-running accent controversy in stride. When the magazine’s founder, stylist Derek Warburton thanked guests, Baldwin said “thank you” in what the event framed as her signature faux Spanish accent, and Warburton quipped, “I love you whatever accent they think you use,” prompting about 50 people to laugh.

Guests at the Maison Close event included designer Nicole Miller, Sutton Stracke, publicist Anna Rothschild and former “America’s Next Top Model” judge Nolé Marin. Warburton’s playful jab landed in front of those attendees as Baldwin smiled through the moment.
