Hilarie Burton shares One Tree Hill throwback after Tyler Hilton split

Hilarie Burton posted a throwback “One Tree Hill” photo on Instagram Stories on Saturday after co-star Tyler Hilton announced his split from his wife, Pagesix reported.

The image showed Burton’s character Peyton Sawyer in a cheerleading uniform, smiling mischievously; it is a snapshot from a third-season episode in which Peyton slapped Chris Keller (Hilton) for flirting with Haley James (played by Bethany Joy Lenz). Burton captioned the pic “IYKYK 🤮” and added no other context.

The throwback came a day after Hilton, 42, announced via Instagram that he and wife Megan Park, 39, had “some time ago…decided to end our marriage,” and that they “continue to make the kids and co-parenting the priority,” thanking fans for “continuing to respect our privacy.” Park has not publicly addressed the split. The couple share daughter Winnie, 6, and son Benny, who was welcomed in 2024; they met on the set of 2007’s Charlie Bartlett and married in 2015. Split speculation had circulated for months, including reports that the pair stopped wearing their rings in late 2025 and unfollowed each other on social media, and a rep for Burton did not immediately return a request for comment.
