A new anime based on a manga by Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa has been announced. The manga has been running since December 2021 in Monthly Shonen Gangan and follows twins Yuru and Asa, the 'children who sunder day and night', who must reunite, claim their birthright and confront powerful supernatural duos called Daemons.

The TV anime, titled Daemons of the Shadow Realm (Japanese: 黄泉のツガイ), is set to run for two cours and will stream on Crunchyroll worldwide. The series is scheduled to premiere on April 4.
