Hogwarts is being rebuilt for HBO Max’s new Harry Potter series. New set images show a full-scale reimagining as filming continues in the UK for the adaptation slated to debut in 2027. Photos reveal constructions including the Hogwarts courtyard, what appears to be Professor Sprout’s greenhouse, and the Whomping Willow.

The greenhouse is where Professor Sprout teaches Herbology and played a pivotal role in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets with the introduction of Mandrakes, a detail that suggests production is preparing for later seasons now. The cast features Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, with John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid.
