How to beat Boris in Mewgenics
Boris is the Sewers boss you meet in Act 1 after clearing The Alley. He has 200 HP and automatically moves toward any cat that hits him, damaging anyone he comes into contact with. Because he can only advance one tile in the direction of an attacker, his counterattacks are often avoidable.
Ranged attacks are the safest option: if a tile separates the attacker and Boris, he can’t reach them. Melee cats can still stay safe by using knockback attacks that push Boris back one tile or more. For early-game setups, the Hunter and Tank classes are the most reliable choices.
Boris also has normal dash attacks with a two-tile range and a trample dash special that triggers after his final turn of the round. The trample dash can cross the full length of the arena, so spread your units rather than lining them up to avoid a single devastating pass.
