How to beat Josee in Code Vein 2
Josee the Blind Hero is one of the five heroes you must slay in Code Vein 2 and the first you meet after leaving MagMell and entering the open world. After defeating the Metagen Remnant and returning from the Sunken City’s past, you can open her cocoon. If you go straight to Josee you may be underleveled, but it is possible to beat her as soon as the cocoon opens with some practice; bring De-Snares since many of her attacks inflict Bind.
In phase one she uses a massive katana that can cover most of the cramped arena but the sword has a lot of end lag, so staying close and pressing the attack lets you score strikes between combos. Watch for golden orbs: she pulls her arm back and her hand glows before she launches them, and they inflict Bind.
If she plunges her sword into the ground she’ll follow with a huge AOE Bind; sprint away and use the quick break to heal. Roll through her wide slashes to keep pressure, but beware she can delay a slash to hit behind her.
