How to enter the ticket lottery for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics

Nbc reports that tickets for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, which begin Friday, July 14, 2028, will be allocated via a lottery or draw and are not yet available to the general public.

To enter, fans should go to LA28.org and follow the links labeled "REGISTER NOW," sign up for an official LA28 account, and register their entry for the LA28 ticket draw. Residents of the greater Los Angeles region and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — where events like Canoe Slalom and Softball will be held — will have access to a special presale. The first ticket drops begin in April 2026, and winning entries can select up to 12 tickets; even if not selected, you may know someone who was.

While the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics are approaching, organizers say now is a good time to plan for LA28. Los Angeles will host the Summer Games for the first time since 1984 and the first U.S. Summer Olympics since Atlanta in 1996; after 2028 the city will join Paris and London as one of the few cities to host the modern Olympics three times or more.
