How to increase your skill capacity in Nioh 3
Pcgamer explains that Nioh 3 has three separate skill types—general, samurai, and ninja—and that slottable skills increase power but are limited by skill capacity. Capacity can be raised by finding texts and memorandums, by trading with Sudama, by reaching exploration milestones in regions, and as rewards from activities such as valuable chests.
Texts increase their respective skill capacity by one, while four memorandums of the same type are required before they add an extra point to capacity. Early texts can be found in areas including Tenryu River, Hamamatsu, Tokaido, Futamata Road, and Futamata Castle.
Memorandums are awarded for reaching a region’s final exploration milestone—for example, reaching exploration level 4/4 in the three starting areas grants a Ninja's Memorandum, Samurai's Memorandum, and Warrior's Memorandum. Exploration levels rise by completing side activities such as Lesser Crucibles and Kodama.
