How to use Glory in Nioh 3
You begin earning Glory fairly early in Nioh 3, but its purpose doesn’t become clear until later. The currency is tied to clan battles, which remain locked until you progress far enough into the campaign, so many players won’t be able to spend Glory right away.
The hidden teahouse in the Eternal Rift opens once you’ve beaten Takeda Shingen, the final main boss in the Warring States period, and unlocked the Heian region. Run by Matsunaga Hisahide, the teahouse is where you join a clan and take part in clan battles. Victors are decided by which clan earns more Glory during a set window, and winners receive additional Glory; you spend it at the teahouse’s trade menu, which sells various items.
Glory comes from online activity. That includes defeating revenants (other players’ avatars, marked by red swords in the ground), having your avatar summoned to help others by leaving a blue sword with a Righteous Jasper, being summoned as a live visitor, and going on expeditions with other players, the game’s exploration co-op mode.
