How to view NASA’s Artemis II moon launch from Florida’s Space Coast
NASA is preparing to send four astronauts on the Artemis II lunar flyby, the first crewed flight around the moon in more than 50 years, from Launch Pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida; the mission could launch as early as Feb. 6, according to The New York Times. Viewing-package tickets were released by the Kennedy Space Center last Friday and can be purchased through the center’s website.
The closest package, called “Feel the Heat,” which offered viewing from about 3.5 miles, sold out within hours; tickets remain for the main visitor complex about eight miles away, starting at $99. NASA is not expected to confirm a launch date until after a countdown dress rehearsal, which may occur as soon as Jan.

KARS Park is a private option, Playalinda Beach will be closed for safety until a successful launch, and local public platforms include the Max Brewer Bridge, Parrish Park, Space View Park and the Rotary Riverfront Park. The Space Bar rooftop at the Courtyard by Marriott Titusville is another viewing option.
