Hudson Williams Stuns Gayle King with His Take on a Perfect First Date
People reports Hudson Williams, 24, left Gayle King momentarily speechless on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 11 when he described his idea of a perfect first date.
Asked by King, the Heated Rivalry star said, "A lot of things. A lot of things. I don’t know. Good conversation and good laughing and good f------." King laughed and replied, "I think that does sound like a good first date." Williams made his Golden Globes debut and was slated to present an award with costar Connor Storrie during the ceremony.
Williams, the breakout star of Crave's Heated Rivalry on HBO Max, wore a white peak-lapel Giorgio Armani dinner jacket with a Bulgari necklace. He and Storrie, who play rival hockey stars in the series based on Rachel Reid’s books, have been promoting the show with viral interviews, photo shoots and party appearances; Williams also spoke on the red carpet with E! about his look and joked about being overwhelmed by the number of emails. He had appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Jan. 7, where he demonstrated stretches and discussed the show’s modesty garments, saying, "They call it a c--- sock" and later, "They call it a modesty garment," adding that "by the end, they just gave up on any of them."
