Gamesradar: One week after Hytale's early access launch, Hypixel founder Simon Collins-Laflamme said he has no regrets saving the game.

Over the course of 10 years the project was sold to Riot Games, underwent a development reboot and cancellation, and was revived when Collins-Laflamme purchased the rights back. He posted on Twitter, "It’s now been 7 days since early access launch and I can confidently say that I have no regrets saving Hytale, it’s been the most challenging but rewarding experience of my life," thanked supporters and the rebuilt Hytale team, and said returning after years away was a big unknown and risk for him and his family but "I fully trusted the people and it just worked."

The Minecraft-inspired RPG has already picked up an impressive mod community. While early access means the game still has a ways to go before a full launch, the rollout was notably drama-free and Hypixel appears to be on its way to making the game into something worth the wait.
