Hytale adds Grimoire: Rekindle Embers to summon skeletal minions

Pcgamer reports Hytale's latest patch adds the Grimoire: Rekindle Embers, a necromancy book that summons undead minions.

The Grimoire lets you summon undead 'hordes' but has a limited number of pages, so at full capacity it functions more like a small skeletal squad. You can find the Grimoire: Rekindle Embers in Zone 4 as a drop from Burnt Skeleton Praetorians, though they aren't a guaranteed drop. In brief testing, the grimoire only seems to work with Piles of Bones furniture items and not Bone Fragments. The update also adds new cosmetics and accessory variants for all players, including vampire teeth and a new bandage variant, plus skeleton minions.

Other changes listed in the patch include an armor slot visibility toggle; Bison, Boar, Cows, Horses, and Warthogs now drop Medium Hide; lower-tier pickaxes are less effective on higher-tier ore; shift+click to equip armor when a slot is empty; QERT shortcuts for inventory management; player markers on the compass; more decorative lights at the Furniture Bench; and an Ophidiophobia mode for players who fear snakes. Progression is still a little stagnant as Hytale chips away at early access updates and the updates are slowly trickling in, and the Hytale blog has the full notes.
