Hytale’s rapid development push to launch earlier in January this year, only months after the team regained control of the project, left several features on the cutting room floor for the early access debut.
Many areas were marked with WIP signs, magic was missing, and farming was almost non-existent — details that stood out once players began exploring.
Coming from Minecraft, I tried to tame the roaming animals by offering wheat and guessing their favorite foods, but nothing worked. It wasn’t a case of overlooking an obvious mechanic; animal taming simply wasn’t part of the game yet.
