I make this 6-ingredient slow-cooker Buffalo chicken dip every game day
This six-ingredient slow-cooker Buffalo chicken dip is a go-to for game days, parties, and the Super Bowl. It feeds about 10 people and is a dump-and-go recipe that consistently proves to be a crowd-pleaser. You'll need a 6-quart slow cooker or Crock-Pot; a rotisserie chicken (or 1 lb of cooked chicken); 12 fluid ounces Frank's RedHot Buffalo sauce; ½ cup ranch dressing; a 16-ounce block of cream cheese; 1 cup shredded cheddar; 1 cup shredded mozzarella; and salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Rotisserie chicken is often easier and cheaper than cooking breasts and adds extra flavor. Separate the breasts, remove the skin, and shred the chicken to yield about 3 cups. Cube the cream cheese so it melts evenly, then add the chicken and season—about a tablespoon of garlic powder, a tablespoon of salt, and a few dashes of pepper is typical.
Stir in the two cheeses, pour the Buffalo sauce and ranch on top, mix briefly, scrape the sides, cover, and walk away.
