Polygon reports that images claiming to show four preconstructed Commander decks for Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming Marvel Super Heroes set — due out in June — began circulating on Jan. 25 after the global release of Lorwyn Eclipsed. The surfaced pictures depict boxes for four decks and list color identities, mechanical focuses, and box art.

One is a four-color Fantastic Four deck (red-green-white-blue) centered on noncreature spells and protection; an Avengers Assemble deck (red-white-blue) leaning on equipment and counters with Captain America and Nick Fury art; a villain-focused Doom Prevails deck (blue-black-red) showing Doctor Doom and Loki with mechanics described as "connive for power" and "drain life"; and a Wakanda Forever green-white Black Panther deck built around artifacts and the monarch mechanic.

Wizards of the Coast had confirmed during an early December preview that Marvel Super Heroes would include "multiple" Commander decks and previously said one would focus on the Fantastic Four, but the company has not confirmed the authenticity of the leaked images. Community reaction has ranged from excitement about the monarch return and Wakanda’s artifact focus to frustration over recurring color choices and missing groups like the X-Men or Guardians of the Galaxy.
