Jacob Elordi’s WWII Miniseries Climbs Back After 'Wuthering Heights' Release
The Narrow Road to the Deep North, a five-part World War II miniseries starring Jacob Elordi, has returned to the streaming top 10 in several countries a year after its premiere. Elordi appears in all five episodes as Dorrigo Evans, and the series holds a perfect 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The cast also includes Odessa Young as Amy Mulvaney, Ciarán Hinds as an older Dorrigo Evans and Thomas Weatherall as Frank Gardiner. The adaptation is based on Richard Flanagan’s novel and was written and created for television by Shaun Grant and Justin Kurzel.
Elordi’s profile received a further boost with the release of Wuthering Heights, in which he co-stars with Margot Robbie. The film, written and directed by Emerald Fennell, opened to mixed reactions—61% from critics and 80% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes—and grossed over $75 million worldwide in its opening weekend.
