Jada Pinkett Smith calls 'nonsense' claims she threatened Will Smith's friend — Pagesix

Jada Pinkett Smith filed a motion earlier this month demanding that musician Bilaal Salaam’s $3 million lawsuit against her be dismissed, calling his allegations "false, uncorroborated, and made to generate attention as part of an ongoing public campaign of harassment directed at" her and the Smith family.

She argued the suit seeks to punish her for her "constitutionally protected speech on a matter of intense public interest about her family." Salaam, who referred to himself as Will Smith’s "best friend for nearly 40 years," sued in November 2025 and alleges Jada confronted him at Will’s birthday party at the Regency Calabasas Common on Sept.

25, 2021. He claims she told him he would "end up missing or catch a bullet" if he continued "telling her personal business," and that she launched a "retaliatory campaign" after he refused to help with crisis management following Will’s 2022 Academy Awards incident.
