Justin Bieber debuted a new back tattoo while performing at the 2026 Grammy Awards, showing extensive body art as he took the stage in boxers and socks. Eagle-eyed fans on social media pointed out that the fresh ink appears to resemble his wife, Hailey Bieber; one X user wrote, 'Has justin tattooed a portrait of hailey onto his back???' Several users compared the image to Hailey's 2020 Elle cover photo.

Bieber has previously said in his documentary Justin Bieber: Next Chapter that his back was still open and that he was saving it for something special, saying he might get portraits of his future children. He first started getting tattoos on his 16th birthday. Earlier this year he debuted a wrist tattoo in April 2026 that appeared to read H22 on an Instagram livestream; he and Hailey also have matching peach tattoos, and Hailey has a J on her left ring finger.

His Grammy performance of Yukon was stripped down; he wore crystal-covered underwear from his Skykrk brand and host Trevor Noah joked that one wrong move would have forced them to put the show on OnlyFans.
