K3 Ultramulti keychain packs 800-lumen light, UV, laser and lighter for $30

ZDNET reviewed the K3 Ultramulti, a multifunctional keychain accessory available now on Amazon for $30. The compact aluminum unit combines a portable flashlight with several other tools and can attach to clothing or metallic surfaces via a clip and a side magnet.

The reviewer noted the K3 includes an 800-lumen LED for illumination, a UV light useful for spotting counterfeit currency, activating UV adhesive, making glow-in-the-dark paint glow and detecting leaks with UV dye, a laser pointer, a multi-colour RGB side LED, and a hidden lighter on the bottom. It is powered by a 750mAh battery charged via USB-C; the reviewer said it "feels like" it would deliver at least a week of general use between charges. The manufacturer claims an IP68 dust- and water-resistance rating, and the reviewer’s testing suggested it should handle outdoor use.

The reviewer said they were surprised by how well the K3 held up after a few weeks: the interface is straightforward, the features work, the battery is ample for daily carry and the price is attractive. ZDNET recommended the K3 as a good, inexpensive keychain light but noted it is not as durable as premium competitors, citing the Olight ArkPro Ultra as an example of a much more rugged — and much more expensive — alternative.
