Karim Adeyemi eyes 'the top' amid Dortmund contract uncertainty

Karim Adeyemi has broken his silence over his future at Borussia Dortmund as transfer speculation grows and contract talks have reportedly stalled. The 24-year-old Germany international is under contract until June 2027 and has been linked with a summer exit that could fetch around €60 million.

Speaking to Ruhr Nachrichten, Adeyemi stressed the decision is not his alone and warned negotiations can shift quickly: "In football, everything can change very quickly. It could all be decided in a month or two – maybe even in the next couple of weeks. The decision isn’t mine alone." He also dismissed suggestions his wife is pushing for a move: "What you read in the media isn’t always accurate.

My focus is here. I’ve never said I feel uncomfortable or anything like that." Off the pitch, his cameo in a music video for his wife, rapper Loredana, reportedly surprised club officials and stirred debate among supporters, in part because its lyrics compared his market value to that of Erling Haaland.
