Kim Kardashian says Kris Jenner opposed airing Kourtney slap from season 18

People reports Kim Kardashian said during a guest appearance on Khloé In Wonder Land that their mother, Kris Jenner, did not want footage of a physical altercation in the season 18 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians to air.

Kim described the episode as beginning with a discussion about Kourtney’s boundaries around filming that escalated after Kim expressed frustration with Kourtney’s work ethic; Khloé tried to pull them apart, punches and kicks were exchanged, and Kourtney slapped Kim across the face, which led to a week-long production pause. Kim said Jenner was “freaking out,” warning the scene should not see the light of day, while Kim argued, “You're not in it, so it is making the cut.”

The sisters also reflected on decades of being filmed — Kim noted having “literally every single day of your life filmed for like 15 years” — and on differing views within the family about what should be shown; Khloé recounted Jenner telling them “sisters don’t hit each other,” to which she replied, “Yeah they do.”
