King Charles hosts Windsor Castle's first-ever premiere for his Amazon Prime documentary
King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted a historic royal premiere for the monarch’s Amazon Prime documentary, Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, at Windsor Castle on Jan. 28, 2026. The special showing took place in the castle’s Waterloo Chamber — where the late Queen Elizabeth once staged holiday pantomimes — and was followed by a reception in the Grand Reception Room.
It’s thought to be the first film premiere held inside a royal residence. VIPs at the event included narrator Kate Winslet and guests such as Judi Dench, Rod Stewart, Benedict Cumberbatch, Felicity Blunt and Stanley Tucci. Royal relatives who helped host the evening included Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Finding Harmony traces Charles’s long-running environmental campaign, presenting what those close to him describe as a personal exploration of his philosophy that people are in partnership with nature. The film follows him from Scotland and Highgrove House to projects in Guyana and India, and uses archival clips and speeches — including a 1970 warning about pollution — to chart his views.
The documentary shows personal moments, including archive footage of Prince Harry being taught to fish and Prince William discussing livestock with his father, and scenes at Highgrove of the King feeding chickens and praising the “red Duke of Yorks” potatoes.
