Kirstie and Phil face bungalow dilemma on Love It or List It
Kirstie and Phil’s Love It or List It (8pm, Channel 4) follows wheelchair user Andy as he grows frustrated with his family’s dated bungalow and narrow corridors. Andy is ready to move but his partner Sam wants to stay and modernise, and their one-year-old son is also a consideration.
The episode sets up a choice between spending a £60k renovation budget or £500k on a new property as Kirstie and Phil present rival plans. At 8pm on BBC Two, Digging for Britain sees Prof Alice Roberts visit the lost estate of the last Anglo-Saxon king, Harold Godwinson, and includes a report on a Gloucester Museum using a shopping-centre unit to relieve an archaeological storage crisis.
The piece notes that 60% of UK museums have no space to take in new finds. Sky Arts’ Landscape Artist of the Year (8pm) is in Dover this week, with judges including Eva Langret, director of Frieze London, taking over from Kate Bryan, and eight artists competing for a place in the final.
BBC One’s Can You Keep a Secret? (9pm) revolves around who is blackmailing the Fendons over a fake death, with policewoman Neha now in on the secret while supposedly dead William keeps leaving the house and offering to babysit. Channel 4’s Patience (9pm) opens with a monk found dead kneeling in a monastery chapel, prompting Patience (Ella Maisy Purvis) and Frankie (Jessica Hynes) to investigate.
