Kotaku is hiring a Nights and Weekends Editor to drive its gaming coverage, working three weekday evenings (3pm–11pm ET) and Saturday and Sunday (9am–5pm ET).

During weekdays the role mixes writing and editing staff and freelance work; on weekends the editor will focus on fast, smart news writing — covering breaking stories and surfacing under‑the‑radar pieces.

The posting says candidates should consistently file clean copy, have editing experience, a keen news sense, a punchy voice familiar with Kotaku’s tone, the ability to self‑direct during off‑hours, and knowledge of major gaming companies, franchises, debates and trends.
