Lainey Wilson says she's open to returning for a Yellowstone spin-off
Lainey Wilson said on the Grammys red carpet that she would be open to returning to Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe, telling the series co-creator, "Holler at me!" and adding, "Fingers crossed."
Wilson said acting wasn’t something she ever planned on pursuing and that music remains her primary focus: "No matter what, my music is number one." She added that she loves telling stories and would hate to close the door on other opportunities.
Wilson played Abby, an emerging country artist, in Season 5 of Yellowstone, a role that drew on her real-life musical persona. She also has a role in the film Reminders of Him and said she left the Grammys early to fly to New Zealand for shows.
Yellowstone has spawned multiple spin-offs and streams on Peacock. The series stars Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill and Lainey Wilson, and is associated with creator Taylor Sheridan.
