Lamine Yamal dribbles past four Real Sociedad players at the Anoeta
According to Goal, Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal left four Real Sociedad players for dead with a dazzling dribbling sequence at the Anoeta on Sunday night.
The run began after Yamal picked the ball up in his own half and ended with a pass through to Fermin Lopez; Barcelona's official account nicknamed the youngster 'Houdini'. The sequence came in a match where Raphinha was absent, and Barcelona posted on their official X account that the Brazilian sat out as a 'precaution' due to a knock to the right thigh, meaning he should be fit to feature against Slavia Prague in the Champions League in midweek.
Despite Yamal's brilliance, Barcelona lost 2-1, with Mikel Oyarzabal and Goncalo Guedes scoring for the hosts and Marcus Rashford providing a consolation for Barcelona. Hansi Flick's side are now only a point clear of Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga standings.
