Lane Kiffin Goes Viral After Bringing Grocery Basket Into Home
According to People, Louisiana State University head coach Lane Kiffin went viral after his daughter filmed him carrying groceries home still inside a store shopping basket.
Kiffin had gone out on Christmas Day to buy the family lunch, then stopped at a grocery store when everything else was closed. His 21-year-old daughter Landry recorded him arriving with the unbagged items and captured their exchange, with her asking, "Why did you bring that back?" and him replying, "How am I supposed to carry it? You have to pay for bags...and it was self checkout." She posted the clip to TikTok, where it amassed over 10 million views and more than 8,000 comments, including reactions such as, "He didn’t wanna pay for a bag, so he stole the basket?"
Landry says her dad has learned his lesson since that Christmas Day, and she added that he sent the video to family group chats and found the attention amusing, so it’s likely he won’t be rolling another shopping cart into the house anytime soon.
