According to Gamesradar, Lego has expanded its Smart Play range with five new Star Wars sets, including the Millennium Falcon, Mos Eisley Cantina and Yoda's hut on Dagobah; all are available to preorder now from the Lego store ahead of their March 1, 2026 launch.

None of the newly listed sets include Smart Bricks — those require previously revealed models — and the writer who tested Smart Play says the system generates audio organically from Smart Tags and adapts to speed and movement rather than playing fixed clips. The Smart Brick can synthesize a sound modelled on the TIE fighter scream when attached to Darth Vader's ship and varied by motion, and placing Chewie on the Cantina will add Wookiee roars to the music; minifigs do not speak words, instead producing endearing gibberish like Simlish. The approach avoids storing soundbytes on the Smart Brick and lets audio respond to how the sets are used.

It is unclear whether Smart Play will earn a place among the best Lego sets, but the tester said they were genuinely taken aback and are excited to see what the system does next. Preorders are open now and the official launch is scheduled for March 1, 2026.
