Lego Batman recommended RAM drops to 16 GB — Pcgamer

The Lego Batman Steam page has cut the game's recommended RAM from 32 GB to 16 GB. "As part of our ongoing testing for Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on PC, we have revised our recommended hardware specifications from 32 GB of RAM down to 16 GB of RAM."

An archived version of the page shows no other changes to the system requirements. The listing still notes 50 GB of storage, requires an SSD, and retains the same operating system, processor, and graphics card specifications.

The adjustment comes with the game set to launch in three months, and while the requirements could change again, the reduction is a positive sign for optimisation.

The timing matters as memory prices remain elevated: Newegg listings show 32 GB kits above $400 and 16 GB DDR5 kits near $200, and SSD costs have risen as well. The change offers hope that more developers might lower inflated RAM requirements going forward.
