Letterboxd ranks the three Avatar films, 2009 original highest-rated

Collider reports that Letterboxd users have ranked all three Avatar films: the original Avatar (2009) leads with a 3.7/5.0 average from 49k Fans, while Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) and Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025) each hold 3.6/5.0 averages with 21k and 6.3k Fans respectively.

The piece notes that the 2009 film remains the franchise’s top earner at $2,743,577,587 and that the first and second films are the number one and three highest-grossing films ever made.
