Lewandowski weighs options with Atletico, Milan and MLS among suitors

Robert Lewandowski faces a decision as his Barcelona contract expires on June 30. The 37-year-old has received multiple offers, including from Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Fenerbahce and clubs in the Saudi Pro League, with five serious proposals reported; he will not sign any pre-contracts before April and is waiting for Barcelona’s presidential election on March 15.

Atletico are among the most intriguing suitors — Diego Simeone’s side have a track record of reviving the careers of former Barcelona forwards such as David Villa, Luis Suarez and Memphis Depay. Milan have also registered interest, while Turkish and Saudi options remain on the table.

Family stability has become a priority for Lewandowski. Settled in Castelldefels, he would prefer to stay at Barcelona and is prepared to accept a salary reduction to fit the club’s wage structure, provided a new board offers a contract that respects his status and contribution.
