Liev Schreiber stars in Gogol Bordello’s new 'Ignition' music video
Collider reports that Liev Schreiber appears in Gogol Bordello’s new music video for their single "Ignition," playing opposite frontman Eugene Hütz as someone who comes to help him, takes him to a diner, and walks off along a railroad together. The song is the third single from the band’s album We Mean It, Man!, which is due February 13.
Schreiber’s role in the video is silent, but the piece notes you can feel his connection to Hütz through their brief scenes, blending modern music-video vibes with an ’80s twist; the item also points to Schreiber’s work on Ray Donovan and Darren Aronofsky’s 2025 film Caught Stealing.
Schreiber and Hütz have been friends for 20 years, first meeting on Schreiber’s directorial debut, Everything Is Illuminated. Since then Schreiber has served as executive producer on Scream of My Blood: A Gogol Bordello Story and the two have joined to make Ukrainian paska at New York’s Veselka.
